Publish your booking website and accept payments

Hosteo generates a booking website from your listings, photos and prices. The owner and manager run it (profile menu → Website); payments are set in Settings → Payments (owner).

  1. Follow the checklist

The Overview tab asks for: a listing with a nightly price, photos, descriptions, a welcome text and payment instructions. The other tabs set the design, rooms and prices, seasons and closures, and booking settings.

  2. Publish the site

Click Publish website. As a draft, visitors see “coming soon” and you can preview. “Pause website” or “Back to draft” takes it down.

  3. Connect your domain name (optional)

Domain name tab: a free Hosteo address always works. For your own domain, enter it and click Connect domain, add the DNS record shown at your registrar, then “Check now” and “Make main address”. HTTPS is automatic.

  4. Choose payment methods

Settings → Payments. With no method switched on, the site only takes booking requests. Each method has its own switch and Save button: cash on arrival (with an optional online deposit), bank transfer, card with CMI, card with Stripe, PayPal.

  5. Set how payment works

“When guests pay” section: the percentage charged online, how long the dates are held, and automatic confirmation of the booking once payment is received.
